Swinerton Builders is Seeking Qualified Subcontractors and Suppliers to provide pricing (bids) for the Compton Unified School District (CUSD), new construction of Compton High School located at 601 S. Acacia Ave., Compton, CA  90220.  DVBE, SBE, WBE, MBE, and small local subcontractors and suppliers are encouraged. Note there is a (3%) DVBE goal associated with this RFP.  

 

This is a Prevailing Wage project utilizing the District’s Community Benefits Agreement (CBA) requirement.

 

At a minimum the Project will involve the following trades: survey, final clean, SWPPP, demolition, reinforcing steel, masonry, structural & miscellaneous steel, metal decking, rough carpentry. casework & countertops, waterproofing, insulation, fireproofing, roofing, sheet metal & flashing, doors, frames & hardware, coiling doors, folding doors, glazing systems, lath & plaster, ceramic tile, acoustical ceiling & wall panels, wood flooring, resilient & carpet flooring, fabric-wrapped panels, painting & wall coverings, marker boards, display cases, signage, wire mesh partitions, folding panel partitions, bird control devices, food service equipment, orchestra shell, portable platforms, stage rigging, theatrical equipment, athletic equipment,  playfield equipment, scoreboards, window treatments, entrance mats, auditorium seating, exterior bleachers, metal press box, telescoping bleachers, site furnishings, swimming pool, elevators, wheelchair lift, fire sprinklers, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, various low voltage systems, grading/excavation, asphalt paving, pavement markings, site concrete, tennis court surfacing, synthetic track & turf,  fencing, landscape & irrigation, and site utilities.

 

At Swinerton’s discretion, Swinerton may require a Payment and Performance bond and/or a letter of bondability from a qualified Surety within 48 hours of demand. Please provide bond rate together with single project bond $ limit for scope of work to be performed in your proposal.
